How to Create a New Wallet in R-wallet

Follow these steps to create a new wallet in R-wallet.

Step 1: Access the Wallet Creation Screen​

  1. If You Don't Have a Wallet:

    • On the main screen, tap Create New Wallet.
    • Create New Wallet

  2. If You Already Have a Wallet:

    • Tap the Gear button at the top right of the screen to open the settings menu.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions as shown in the images to proceed with wallet creation.

Step 2: Backup Your Mnemonic Phrase​

After creating your wallet, you will be provided with a mnemonic phrase. It's crucial to back this up securely.

  • Create New Wallet
  1. Write Down the Mnemonic Phrase:
    • Carefully write down the mnemonic phrase in the exact order provided.
  2. Store the Mnemonic Phrase Safely:
    • Keep your mnemonic phrase in a secure location, such as a password manager or a physical note stored in a safe place.
    • Do not share this phrase with anyone. Anyone with access to your mnemonic phrase can gain control of your wallet.

By following these steps, you can securely create and back up your new wallet in R-wallet.
